SPRing Study Information:

Researchers at Newcastle University are conducting a study exploring parental substance use and resilience in young people (SPRing Study).

We are looking to recruit young people, aged 14-25, whose parents misuse substances (alcohol and/or drugs). In addition, we are also keen to speak to practice and policy practitioners who provide support for young people and families affected by substance misuse.

This study is open to young people and practitioners from across England. Individuals will have the opportunity to take part in a remote interview, exploring factors such as lived experience, current support provision, and ideas for intervention development. Young people will receive a £10 voucher as a thank you.
